The star Aldebaran, like a great many other stars, has an Arabic name, its name means the one who follows, referring to the fact that it follows the Pleiades.
This star is found in tropical Gemini, with this I mean to clarify that its sidereal location should not be confused, which is found in the constellation of Taurus.
It is a pale pink colored star that marks the left eye of Taurus. It is located about 28 light-years away from us, moving away at 45 km/s. The Persians considered it one of the four royal stars, because around the year 3000 B.C. it marked the vernal equinox, that is, the beginning of spring.
For astrology, this star, like the others about which I will also provide notes, are catalogued by Ptolemy, and he pointed out that it belonged to a martial nature, this is meant to say that it has a belligerent nature that can be contrasted or amplified according to what planets it makes an aspect with at the moment of birth.

When this star is found next to the moon on the rising horizon, we are dealing with an upright person, when it is the sun that rises on the horizon at the very moment a person comes to life, it will be someone with great perseverance who will put much energy into everything they do, with possibilities of achieving prestige and material benefits, however the risk of losing power and facing enemies also comes along.
When, however, the sun is culminating, by this I mean when the sun is just overhead at noon, the possibilities of this star manifesting itself by granting a particular capacity to rise socially are much greater, however I emphasize again that only one star does not make a destiny, if a natal chart indicates special luck the conjunction of the sun, the moon, and especially the ascendant or midheaven with a fixed star, can indeed be very important.
